Harvey Williams Cushing was born on April 8, 1869 in Cleveland, Ohio and died on October 7, 1939 at the age of 70. Harving was a neurosurgeon and a pioneer of brain surgey. He was the first person to use x-rays to find brain tumors and improved the survial rate of people after difficult brian surgies. Harvey also made important contributions twords the study of blood pressure in surgey.
